What we collect, why, who it goes to, and how to make us delete it.
Last updated 28 September 2026. This page covers wonderfulev.ai, the free battery checklist, the Used EV Kit and the emails and Instagram messages that go with them. It does not cover any future Wonderful EV app, which will have its own policy.
Wonderful EV is part of Empty Vessels AI a global EV software company, based in Melbourne, Australia. ABN 30 700 003 498. Contact us about privacy at support@wonderfulev.ai.
When you ask for the free checklist. Your email address, the date you asked, and where the request came from. If you asked through an Instagram message, ManyChat passes us your Instagram user ID and the keyword you sent.
When you buy the kit. Stripe collects your card or wallet details, name and billing country. We receive your email address, the amount, currency, tax, which regional edition you chose, and Stripe's payment reference. We keep that as your order.
When you download. Your download link, how many times it has been used, and when it was last used.
When you use the site. Pages viewed, buttons clicked, screen width, the site or campaign that sent you, and your approximate country. Google Analytics and PostHog also record your browser, device and approximate location from your IP address. PostHog records sessions: a replay of how the page moved, where you clicked and where clicks did nothing. Everything typed into a form is masked in those recordings, and download and unsubscribe codes are removed from every address before any analytics tool sees it.
Your country. Our host tells us which country your connection comes from. We use it to suggest your kit edition and to decide whether Australian GST applies at checkout. We don't store it against you.
Security. Your IP address is used briefly to stop abuse, such as too many requests at once, and appears in our host's logs.
We don't collect your car's details, your VIN, or anything you write on the Inspection Score. The score is worked out in your browser, and nothing about you is decided automatically.
You only need to give us an email address, and only if you want the checklist or the kit. Without it we can't send them. Everything else is collected automatically as you use the site.
Only the services that run this site for us. Each one processes your information on our behalf.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to a buyer of the business, who would be bound by this policy.
We advertise on Meta (Facebook and Instagram), TikTok, X and YouTube. Right now this site loads no advertising pixels and sends nothing to those platforms. If we add them, we'll update this page before they go live, say what they collect, and ask for your consent where the law requires it. You can control the ads you see in each platform's own ad settings, and at optout.aboutads.info or youronlinechoices.eu.
You can clear or block cookies in your browser. The site still works; the Inspection Score will ask you to open it again from your email. We don't currently respond to browser Do Not Track signals. Google and PostHog can recognise the same browser across the sites that use them, and PostHog links your visits here with visits to the Empty Vessels AI website.
Most of the services above are outside Australia, mainly in the United States, and one sends from Japan. We use providers that protect personal information under their own contracts, including the standard contractual clauses approved for data leaving the EU and UK. For Australian purposes, that means your information may be held and processed in those countries, where courts and government agencies may be able to access it under local law.
Wherever you live, you can ask us to show you what we hold, correct it, delete it, or stop emailing you. If you're in the EU or UK you can also object to how we use it, restrict it, take a copy in a common format, and withdraw consent at any time. Email support@wonderfulev.ai. We'll reply within 30 days, and it's free.
California and other US states. We don't sell or share personal information for cross-context advertising. If that changes, we'll add a way to opt out before it does.
Tell us first and we'll try to fix it. If you're not happy with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, the NZ Privacy Commissioner, the UK Information Commissioner's Office, or the data protection authority where you live in the EU.
The kit is for people buying a car. It isn't meant for anyone under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Our database can only be read by our own server, never from a browser. Connections are encrypted. Card details never touch our systems. Download links are long, random and expire.
If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and the date at the top first. If the change is significant, we'll email the people it affects.
